An elegant, modern retreat designed for effortless indoor-outdoor living.
The main villa at River Magic combines contemporary architecture with soft, natural textures and warm design elements inspired by the surrounding fynbos and red rock hillside. Built into the slope above the water, every window frames a view – of the dam, the sunset, or the rugged natural vegetation behind.
Bedrooms
The villa sleeps up to 10 guests across four beautifully decorated bedrooms:
- Two king suites. Both feature king-size beds, luxurious linens, and en-suite shower rooms. Large windows open toward the dam, making the bedroom feel like a sanctuary overlooking the water.
- Two family/children’s rooms. Each room sleeps three guests, ideal for children or mixed groups. These two rooms share a family shower room and a guest toilet.
Every space has been thoughtfully curated, with soft textures, contemporary finishes, and calming tones that echo the landscape.
Living Spaces
At the heart of the home is a generous open-plan living area that flows seamlessly out onto the deck:
- A cosy lounge with a TV and fireplace for winter evenings
- A sun-drenched seating area with expansive views over the dam
- A beautifully crafted dining table seating 10
- Large glass doors that open fully, creating a continuous connection between the interior and the natural surroundings
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for a relaxed, self-catering stay:
- Electric oven with gas hob
- Large air fryer, microwave, integrated dishwasher
- Side-by-side fridge freezer (with ice)
- Placemats, cookware, pots, pans, cutlery & serving ware
- Tea, instant coffee, sugar
- Olive oil, salt & pepper
Guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water, although a complimentary 5L bottle is provided.
Outdoor Living
The villa’s outdoor areas are designed for long, laughter-filled days:
- Indoor and outdoor braai spaces (wood provided)
- A small lawn for cricket, games, and family time
- Direct access to the dam
- Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards & life jackets available for guest use
- A wood-fired hot tub tucked into the hillside - perfect for sunset views and evening relaxation (can be used warm or cool)
